Kath Littler
Growing up near Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire - Kath Littler wanted to depict the beauty of her surroundings from an early age.
In 2003 Kath took up wood engraving as a medium ideal for expressing the drama, contrasting light, rhythm, and pattern of nature. Much of the subject matter derives from the Pembrokeshire coast as well as North Wales, Orkney and Brittany. To engrave is to re-experience the emotion of being there, and to find expression for that. Kath believes that to create a thing of beauty which inspires is one of the highest aims one can have in art.
